It was hosted by the Japan Titanium Society, the Japan Institute of Titanium, the Rare Metal Workshop (Organizer: Professor Toru H. Okabe), Research Center for Sustainable Material Energy Integration, and JX Metals Endowed Unit.

On November 1, 2024, “The 53rd Molten Salt Chemistry Workshop” was held at the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo. The event was organized by the Molten Salt Committee, the Electrochemical Society of Japan, and the Research Center for Sustainable Material Energy Integration, IIS. Prof. Takanari Ouchi, served as the chair of the workshop’s organizing committee.
