On October 5, 2024, Prof. Takanari Ouchi gave a lecture to approximately 200 first-year students at Junior High School at Otsuka, University of Tsukuba. The purpose of this lecture was to broaden the perspectives of junior high school students and expose them to various values. Prof. Ouchi presented his past research and the production and recycling of non-ferrous metals. He also displayed various rare metals and ores he brought with him. The lecture was highly lively and interactive, with the students asking numerous questions.
