On January 6, 2023, a special joint symposium, named “Frontier of Extraction and Recycling Technology for Precious Metals (The 10th Precious Metal Symposium),” was collaboratively held at the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo, by the JX Metals Endowed Unit, Integrated Research Center for Sustainable Energy and Materials (IRCSEM), and the Rare Metal Workshop (Organizer: Prof. Toru H. Okabe). Dr. Ouchi was the lead coordinator of this event.
